I thought if I waited a few days that I would be able to write this without tears in my eyes, but it just isn't happening. I had to have my precious Westie, Abby, put down on Wed. the 29th of Oct. It was by far the hardest thing I have had to do yet but I could see that she was beginning to be in pain and nothing could be done for her. The vet office met me with hugs and my sweet vet, Dr. Jones, was so compassionate. I feel so bad for others that have to do this, but as my vet said, "This is the most loving gesture that you have ever done for Abby." I take comfort in that. I will be receiving her ashes and they will stay with me. I miss her so much.
Thanks for reading.
Cheryl

Cheryl I'm sorry for that, made me wanted to cry to, because I can't even imagine this pain that one day I will have to endure.
But she is in a good place and the most important thing, is to give them the most happy life they can have.
Thanks for your words of encouragement that you left on my blog. I see now why you were able to be so sympathetic. Things have worsened with my mom since my post.
BTW, since you like to read romance novels, try "A Thousand Days in Venice"--it's a beautiful love story.
Im so sorry for your loss .....We also lost our beloved Buddy just a few months ago It is very hard . Im keeping you and your family in our prayers !!!
This is a great photo of Abbey, I know you miss her lots. Hope you get to feeling better soon.

I am so sorry, Cheryl. Abby was very beautiful, and I know the place where you are. Hugs.
